im 17 years old and i also get shooting pains in my left breast, i stacked a bmx when i was 13 and landed with all my weight on my left breast on the end if the handle bars. the pains caused me to go have a mammogram late last year and there's no noticble trauma, so im assuming its just caused by scar tissue. have you ever hurt your breasts? do you get it only when you're on your period? cos i know our breasts are more sensitive then. if it's really bothering you perhaps you should speak to your GP

it happens to me when my nipples get hard and something bumps into them. especially when its cold. and i'm pretty sure its just because they are more sensitve when they are erect. kind of like how you dont want to flick a guy with a hard on on the penis, owch. im not talking about racking him in the balls either, totally different story.
but if your having pains without them being hard id make an appointment with your gyno. ehh?

I get this!! It's always on one side and is very startling...I'm in my early 20's....I don't know what's going on, but it seems to always happen when I am wearing my tightest bra that has a firm underwire. This is what I attribute it to...
