I had an interview at nordstroms today. The manager said she would call me before 5pm. She said that she just had to check and see if my schedule fits everyone elses. She said she would definitely call me back today before 5pm because training starts monday. well she hasnt called me back and its 5:23pm now. Do you think I should call her back? Or should I like wait until tomorrow? Or should I call her at 6pm? What do you guys think?

Go ahead and give her a call. This shows that you are very interested in working for her and her company.

Good luck!

That MAY HAVE BEEN a stall tactic for viewing other applicants. It's mean, but it can happen. Call and remind the interviewer of her 5pm. agreement. Depending on how she responds, you are a "high on the list" candidate for the job. If she's distant or seems to stall, don't worry about it. Even if you really wanted to work for that company, there's a message from a "higher power" that this may not be the place for you. There are other companies--move on, if there's no favorable response. Life's short.

She lied. Get your attorney on the phone NOW and file a lawsuit. Within three weeks, you'll own Nordstrom's. Then go in and fire that liar.
