I think my books are fine. I have a special room in my house just for them with a comfy chair where I sit to read them. They are grouped by author or topic on shelves that cover 3 walls of the room.

The spines are broken and there's coffee stains on lots of the pages.

They've been pretty quiet lately, not getting in too much trouble. Of course, Christmas is coming, so I think they're being especially good so Santa will bring them some new friends. I do hear them sometimes late at night when they think I'm sleeping, whispering to each other, but so far they've not been raiding the fridge or making messes, so I let them be.

some are well read, some are dusty, some are new and waiting for gentle fingers to turn their pages, some are old, worn and barely staying together. The most well read and used book in my home is my bible. :)
