Assuming that 70 million quid would be a lot of money in American dollars, I'd get myself out of debt, buy a house so I can have my dream kitchen, leave some for my children and other family members, give some to my college as an endowment or a scholarship, and save the rest and live off the interest.
How much would 70 million quid be in American dollars anyway?

70 million quid i'm assuming is around 100 million dollars, hopefully post taxes, in which case. I'd :
1. Take care of my family and the ppl i love, and try to make them happy and well.
2. Buy a house, car, maid, personal trainer, ect., and get to looking NICE.
3. I'd travel around the world.
4. Hire a hit man to take out ppl I hate.
5. Invest some in bussiness deals
6. Try to change the media to include a more open minded veiw of the world.
7. open a school for the gifted.
8..... I've got a lot of ideas...... Non of it's going to charity.

Keep ten million in an account simply to spend and have a great time with and maybe buy a huge estate. Then put the remaining money into a savings trust, the interest will be massive, and if you set up a trust similar to those of the aristocracy. Your descendants for generations, generations and generations will be loaded, and the best thing is, the bulk of the money will still be intact, and they wont be able to touch it. They will live off the massive interest. Set your family up forever.

Apart from the usual taking care of family, friends, debts etc. etc?I would invest some & make a concerted effort to relieve some countries of their problems & set them up if possible so they don`t fall back into the same trap again, then I might take care of myself in some small way.

I'd buy my family homes, pay my brother's college tuition, pay my father's medical bills, make sure that my mother doesn't have to work anymore, get my family cars, finally get an ID, finally get a bank account, and get myself a penthouse apartment in Manhattan on 5th Ave with a gorgeous view...then I'd throw around hundred dollar bills while dancing in my underwear to Black Eyed Peas - My Humps...

I'm happy and confortable as I am and wouldn't want anymore money. I like blending in with everyone and not being different and that's what I am now. I would give the money to charity. Then I would feel great about myself too.
