I live in central Illinois and according to the Farmers' Almanac it's supposed to be very cold like last year, but this time with more moisture in the air, so we'll have much more snow. Not really looking forward to this winter season.

I spent 34 winters in Indiana and a lot of them were really bad! You are due for one!

I see a lot more snow and ice than usual - but there will be rapid thaws and higher risks of flooding.
