im in middle school and when there is a hot girl everybody doesn't say nothing about her i mean we all know that people think she is hot but nobody idmits it. i asked my friend who they think is hot and they say nobody. then i list a couple names and they say yeah they are alright. come on
and when somone likes a girl(not just because of her looks) why do they keep it so secret (even when they aren't playing hard to get)
for example this girl i hanged out with (now i love her not just because her looks but dang she looks fine) i just flat out told her the second day of school tat she is so hot and now my friends say she is hot (im not the "popular guy in school). and like in a week i told her i like her(that i actually wanted to go out with her) and she told me she isn't ready to date and she wil be soon
so my question is why do guys pretend that girls aren't attractive or hot when we all know they are hot and what grade do they usually dont care about who knows who they like

Well, I totally understand you. I'm not a guy, but I'm 13 and I'm also in Middle School. You know I have to say that boys in Middle are really, really, REALLY immature! I mean you can't live with them, but you can't live without them. I'm not really the popular girl of the school, and unfortunately I really like this guy that I think he is popular, he's my friend, and he knows I like him (if you're a girl NEVER tell a guy u like him) i told him over MSN, and well he doesn't like me...
Life in Middle is just painful!!!

I think that they might not do that because their mothers taught them about etiquette/manners. While it is always flattering to hear that someone thinks your hot- its sort of rude to just say it to them, and later on, it won't be cute anymore. Also, they could be doing this because they don't think that they can get her because she's too hot, and would just embarass themselves.
P.S. I understand that you don't want people to think that you're a loser, but by putting that much emphasis on being friends with popular people, you sound like wannabe.
But it all depends on the person. Usualy people stop when they get into high school

thats odd when i was in middle school all the hot girls knew they wer hot cuz they wer told a lot. i havnt hid it that i thought a gil was hot seince forever but thats me. ususaly middle school is about when people start saying to a girls face but most guys arent leaders and are afraidof being made fun of becaus ehtye are th only perosn who thinks the girl is hot. you broke the ice so people will say she is not now because is someone argues with them they can bring you down with em cuz u said it first. guys whould lighten up about 8th grade and realize they are being foolish and thats why they never date. and if you keep being a trendsetter and telling girls they are hot you could become popular because guys will think you have guts and think thats cool so they will wanan be friends with you cuz you know how to talk to ladies and the girls will like you because they will be getting complaments from you and not other guys cuz they are all afraid to talk to em. so if you keep it up youll come out on top its a win win buddy goodluck

In Middle School, boys go through a lot of changes, including girls. Many boys in middle school are afraid to admit who they like, so they keep it a secret. Sometimes, they say mean things, even though they don't mean it, they just don't know how to act with girls. It's a difficult process for men to actually admit who they like and all that stuff. Men sometimes never admit who they really like and don't care about it...and your talking about guys, sometimes guys don't think.

That is so true! I am a girl and I guess a lot of guys think I am cute. Last year when I was in eighth grade no one asked me out, but I knew they all talked about me. This year I am in highschool, and I have already had about 7 guys ask me out. I said no to all of them.I am guessing that it is in highschool that they don't care if people know who they like. Its a maturity thing. Say when your most likely out of high school, things will change. Your friends may be embarrassed to admit it. You should ask them if theyre gay, then they'll tell you everyones hot!!!
