what costume do you suggest for me ?

I need some ideas for a costume. I have a halloween costume party to go to in 2 days and am stuck for a costume. I was going to wear the one I always do...a witch, but my friends said they want to see me in something else. yea ok I do were it every year. it was easy. so now I have no money or time for a costume...what do you suggest?

Well I still like the scare crow theme. Even for an adult.

Things needed
1. flannel shirt
2. jeans or overalls
3. Raffia: very inexpensive in any craft section in any store.
4. elastic or rubber bands.
5. Straw hat

We started by making a wig with elastic cut and tied to fit your head. Then used the cut the raffia and tied it around the elastic. Then you put the hat over the wig.

We used the same technique to make it look like straw was coming from the arms and feet.

Then you make it look like straw is coming from the flannel shirt.

If you want you can add freckles using eyeliner.

Then voila a perfect scare crow. You could also make a jack-o-lantern face.

Spend a small amount of cash on a red cape and basket.

You can be little red riding hood. Fill your basket with candy or use it as your purse for the night. You could go super cute with it with a small black dress and fishnets... Or you could do the torn clothing, fake blood, and scars look and call yourself Little Dead Riding Hood. If you have a significant other, you could even talk them into going as the big bad wolf.

a flapper! My friends and I are going as a flapper. Just wear a dress and long beads and you can make the flapper hat with a headband and stick a feather in it. Wear stockings and pumps. You are all done!

Dress all in black and go to JoAnn's and get cat ears and be a black cat...you'll need a tail too, maybe a boa. You can get that at JoAnn's too. Get something sparkly to make a collar.
