The Taliban was never beat in the first place. The USA only had about 15,000 ground troops in Afganistan in the invasion. Not near enough to defeat the Taliban.

The taliban simply went across the border to safety, waited for less US troops, and slowly attack again.

If we wouldn't of invaded Iraq, and concentrated on Afganistan, everything would of been fine.

you mean the people that supported those that attacked us on 9-11... like Osama...

and Bush said he wasn't "concerned" with Osama... so I guess he's not concered about the Taliban either...

apparently, despite his own admission and the facts of almost every study done on the issue... he still thinks Iraq was behind 9-11?

Taliban are starting to kick our butts because some idiot decided we needed to divert resources away from Afghanistan to the suck hole called Iraq,

They are running on the democratic ticket this election. The dems replaced "moderates" like Lieberman with them. They feel this is more representative of where their constituency is coming from.

Based on what liberals have been saying since the recent unprovoked attack on Israel by Lebanon, I tend to agree.

the Taliban and al qaeda is alive and well in Afghanistan and along the border with Pakistan........ and they are gaining strength .......... thanks to that brilliant president
