Hmmmm... I recently made a move that was about the same mileage as yours, and with U-Haul, I rented a slightly smaller truck, yet packed very efficiently, and I moved for only $520.00 ... I checked out Budget, Ryder, and Penske, yet, no one had better customer service and online booking rates than U-Haul. They also were very leniant with us as far as our gas mileage, that way we wouldn't have to pay extra. Try U-Haul. For a little more money, you get excellent customer service and excellent equipment. Just be wary of where you get the truck from , ok?

I have found that the most expensive moving service was U Haul. Try Budget or Ryder for truck rentals. Also, I was given some advice from a father who has moved his college-age daughter several times. He rents a cargo van from one of the car rental vendors.

I work for ABF (commercial freight company) and we offer a residential moving service called U-Pack Moving. We deliver a truck or portable storage container (ReloCube) to your home; you pack and load your stuff, and then we drive it to your new location. Our prices are often comparable to rental truck prices with two advantages: 1) you pay only for the space you use inside of the trailer and 2) there are no additional charges for fuel, taxes, tolls, etc.

Check out the website for a price quote: www.upack.com.

Good luck!

try one of those pod moving companies. They drop off a box and you and friends grill and pack. They drive it to the new location for you and drop off the box. You arrive, break out the grill, and move in.
Need some one to do it for you? Try someting like "Two Men and a Truck" moving services.

you will no longer discover something greater low-value than U-hual or funds. do no longer forget approximately to funds for gas. those issues in basic terms get approximately 5 miles according to gallon. At $ 3.40 it is amazingly some money.
