that being a leader or someone who sets the trends is a bad thing?

For one I highly dislike trends I think you shouldn't have to follow a trend to be liked.In my opinion it's only as bad as you make it so just be yourself and have fun!

Not always but usually it is the case.
Cause when the trend goes out of fashion, that person/thing will be the first thing to be laughed at.
