marriage is nothing but a contract. thats it. without the legal stuff, it wouldn't be called a "marriage" in the first place.

dude, if you're unhappy in your marriage, then you need to figure out why. without knowing the source, you could screw up every relationship you get in because the problem may be you. it may not be. but you should still try to figure it out.

does the wifey know that you're unhappy? if not, then you should tell her and discuss your options.

i'm curious, you met a young girl of your dreams. are you sure? or is she just someome that you think could fill that emptiness you feel? she may not be able to. after all, u need to find the cause first.

or maybe it could be just something to make you feel better about yourself. mid-life crisis i presume? u'r not alone in that. and different people experience it differently. Others just don't get it, period. But its just as important to your mental health as anything else.

What is is about her thats so apealing? And what is it abotu ur wife that's not?

If your wife feels the same way, then you should try a trial seperation first. If all your doubts go away and you start to miss her, then theres nothing to worry about. but then agian, nobody said that everyone feels the same way about their relationships later on as they did in the beginning. its perfectly normal.

but like i said. a marriage is just a legal contract. god has nothing to do with it. even if u did get married in a church, that was just a ceremony. you're not actually married until you sign and it's comfirmed. so i wont put too much emphasis on the marriage part. but you should consider your wife's feelings. talk to her.

talk to her like 2 people in a relationship. when the word "marriage" comes up, then it complicates everything because if 2 people wanted to get married in the first place, then that was because of their feelings. feelings change. so do contracts.

one person might still feel the same way and then the other feels trapped. so whats more important? staying in a relationship and be miserable or being honest toyourself? it happens all the time. relationships change. people's wants and needs change.

but it seems that people don't like to hear that very much....but you really should talk to your wife. not about the younger girl, but about your unhappiness. could be a starter.

If he is so unhappy with his wife then he needs to get a divorce before he goes around seeing someone else.

Get a divorce and then date or are you the young girl? Then tell him to grow up and get a divorce so he can date you.Cheaters who cheat on their spouses will most likely cheat on you too.

i liked the first answer. and i wanna add to it...
when you are married no matter happy or unhappied you stay married. you made a commitment and you stick with it, no matter what....

if you are unahppy, why don't you seperate and then date, otherwise married men don't date at all....
