Let's all propose a very early toast to the most destructive species that will destroy life on earth (apart from insects)

Here is the question so I don't get reported : AM I TALKING COMPLETE CRAP?

You've got a lot of funny answers.......and a few serious ones, mines the latter. Did you ever think for one minute that if everyone who had an attitude like yours, we would be doomed. Thank goodness we don't.........LATER

There's no doubt that our species has a major negative impact on the world that is just getting worse. Certainly we are all "doomed" in the sense that our species will not last forever, but I think your timeframe is a tad narrow, and more speculation than anything else. For our species to become totally extinct within 600 years would require a catastrophic event (e.g. an asteroid collision, or a nuclear holocaust). If we just make the Earth hotter, as we are doing we will likely last much much longer (in reduced numbers, of course), although the last 1000 years or so would be unimaginably ugly.

Speculating about it is unpleasant, for sure, and you can drive ourself mad by focusing your energy on this topic...so don't. Do what you can to reduce your impact on the planet, but don't obsess about it. Find something you like to do and that takes your mind off of it.

I'll still be here. I don't die for another 787 years. I get hit by a double decker bush. Yeah, I certainly was or is or will be surprised. There are no double decker buses 787 years from now. So you can imagine my shock when I hear "look out for that bus"... That was, is or will be the last thing before... smack...

Oh, evil always destroys itself, but not everyone is evil. The animals eventually gain control again... and we just live in harmony with them. It is..will be all cool.

Even now I fear the bus system. There is a conspiracy a float. I can feel it. And you are worrying about people and animals. It is the buses!!! Or am I talking complete crap? I don't think so.

If humans do become extinct then it will be the best thing to happen to this planet! But not for us as a race obviously! However some species are sure to survive and they will inherit the earth in whatever state we have left it. From then, only nature has the answer.

Seeing this makes me wonder whether you intend to be around when the human race becomes extinct. I, for 1, hope that i am not. Really, why worry? there is an old saying-: Today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday.

Any question that gets us all seriously thinking, like your question has, has to be worth something of value. I have a theory that ants will inherit the world. They are so ancient and organized, and every single one of them has a task to perform and just does it relentlessly. Ants. Who woulda thunk it? Sent to you by Chris in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A.
