Where to begin oh where to begin. When I was in middle school for about 3 summers in a row I was diagnosed with Achilles tendinitis and I had to go to PT for that. Those were shorter trips...I only went to PT for a couple weeks for that. 2001 I broke my tibia and fibula, actually had to have a steel rod hammered into the center of my tibia. Good stuff. But I went to PT for about 7 months for that. The most recent I tore my meniscus in 2004, I actually was trying to rehab myself but due to the muscular weakness from the surgery in my quads my kneecap was getting pulled over to the outside of my knee and irritating the tissue there. So that was another 2 months of conditioning. I'd hafta say the therapy for my broken leg was the absolute worse (especially trying to get the range of motion back in my ankle...ouch).

Yep, for hip pain. The orthopedic surgeon was all ready to replace my hip, but the PT found out my quads were just too tight from running. Close call! PT's are great.

They also found the cause of ongoing abdominal pain that a GI doctor said was IBS. No, it was a tight psoas muscle on the inner aspect of my spine; everything was out of whack due to scoliosis. A bit of therapy, and cured again with PT!

I did for 6 months. I was partly paralysed (up to 80%) after being diagnosed with ALS (MND). Then I was miraculously healed from this dreadful illness. But as I couldn't walk properly for 5 years my ankles, knees, hips become stiff. Consequently I had to be shown again how to walk, sit down, get up etc., etc. again. It was awesome & I'm very grateful to the magnificant team of physiotherapist working 4 - 5 hours daily with me.

May God bless them for their knowledge, paitence & dedication.
