- Jesus from Luke 6:46

How long will this continue in the hearts of these lying prophets who prophesy the delusions of their own minds? ... I am against the prophets who steal from one another words supposedly from me ... who wag their own tongues ...
Jeremiah 23:26,30-31

Your rulers are rebels, companions of thieves; they all love bribes and chase after gifts. They do not defend the cause of the fatherless; the widow's case does not come before them.

Isnt it strange how the people in power in this country twist the Bible to suit their own sordid needs. Not strange, sad really. If many of them had any concept of what true christianity was there would be alot of different things happening.

This is because people think they can walk into church and turn around and do the opposite of what they said in church and still be Christians. Nowadays, people are so scared that someone won't agree with them that they say something in church and do another when they're in public. This whole "being politically incorrect" idea is making many Americans do so much differently than what they want people to believe. It's pretty pathetic that some people can make a commitment to God and then blow it for a group friends or a president that doesn't want to offend anyone. I mean..you don't want George Bush to look bad do you ;)

Very simple mate..... now these days we are using Lord as an excuse to scape trouble and make our life easier. We call his name only when we are in danger. Same as when we need something to be done and only then we call the Lord and after our job is done we do not listen to him. What shall i say ... at least some of us are calling him Lord even though we are not listening to him or al least trying to listen to him rather than not beliving in him at all.

I don't understand why you are asking this. With how vague it is, the question is open for so much interpretation, that you will not even understand some possible logical answers.
