yep, I was born December 68!
I feel mentally in my 20's, due to the pressures of life and the abuse I pile on my body, physically in my 40's - but my kids make me feel like I'm in my teens, much to the annoyance of my wife who's in her 80's!!
40 is just a number! Use it as an excuse to make a big beneficial change - Or do what I am gonna do and get totally bladdered!!

Hi Tricia
I'm 50 and I still feel young at heart. The old bod dont tho. I still like to go out for a beer with me mates and I can still party till the small hours when the occasion arises, but burning the candle at both ends takes a bit more getting over than it used to. So dont worry about it cos you cant do squat about getting older. Its much better to be alive and happy at 37 cos the options have limited appeal.
So think of it this way, if you have as much fun in the next 37 years as you've had in the last 37 then you could have some great times by the time you are 74. Also with age comes wisdom, I have only had a pc for the last 2 years, but I go to college to increase my knowledge in IT and have some certificates for my efforts. I really enjoy the learning process, where 20 years ago I would have been too busy taking chemical substances and partying to bother about anything like that.
Dont dispair Tricia the best is yet to come.

I am 57 and still feel like I'm 20. It never alters. You are just YOU - and you won't ever feel any different! (except you may become slightly more intolerant because by my age, you've seen it all and know it all - oh and slightly overweight - oh and slightly wrinkled! )
It's only when you look in the mirror that you realise you are no longer 20 and even if you want to wear clothes a 20 year old would, you know that you can't because you would look ridiculous. I can't imagine that I will soon be drawing my pension. So I don't define myself in years, there are too many of us who are all the same age! I define myself as ME, unique and age is immaterial. You should do the same!

I did feel like I was 20 when I was 37. Now, I'm 40 and feel like I'm 23.

Hell that's not too bad, I'm forty five, and still feel that I am in my twenties. I know more now, I make more money now, own my own home, my car is paid off.
I'm in good health, so what more can anyone want in life.
It's not the years you have accumulated, it's what you have done with them.
We don't live in the yesterday, or the tomorrow, we only live in the here and now. So stop worrying about the age you are, and work on your life as it is right now.
Have fun, spend time with family and friends, watch your health and wealth, put that important bit of cash away for your retirement, as you have found out, it comes all too quickly to all of us.
Summing it all up, if you are having a good time, age is meaningless, if you aren't.Then time to change things around.
There is only one way to avoid aging, and that's to die, not a good way to stay young is it,. lol.
Enjoy, your years, and any wrinkles or grey hair you may have, its a sign of a lifetime well spent.

Damn! I'm 28 and I feel like I'm still 20...except I know better now, much more mature than when I was 20 and better looking, hahaha! It might sound extremely cliched, but age is how old the heart is...and seriously, I don't feel a year older than 20, except when I *try* to go out drinking, that is DEFINITELY not the same resistance, my friend, but otherwise, it's awesome!

Like Flyboy - I'm older than I care to mention, still feel 14 and sleep about 4 hours a night - cannot imagine why anyone wants to "feel old" or horror of horrors "dress old".
I got home from work at 22.20, phoned a friend who had left a message and woke her up! It is nearly 1 o'clock now and I don't feel tired. I do think I might go to bed with my DS-Lite and a good book for a few hours.
Feel old - you're having a laffff! :-)

35 going on 20, the old saying is "once a man twice a child," well I'm doing the child bit twice in a row and i'm saving old for later. The thing I hate the most is listening to the radio and they say thay have a great classic rock song coming up next and I remember it from when it was new, that bugs the hell out of me and makes me feel old.

I'm 37 too. It's horrible isn't it? but I do feel younger now than I did when I was 20. Maybey its more confidence and understanding of life. I can't wait to be 60-70-ect as I know I'll be laughing even more, especially at life.
