If everyone just agrees with me on this that will be fine.
I'm 'forced' to watch it TWICE a day, and it doesn't get any better on second viewing.
It glorifys rape and domestic abuse, whilst demonising women who have abortions.
plus I have never once seen an aborigine person, or indeed any non-white person on it.

Not racist. Just a reflection of how racist Australia actually is. In fact they did have a mysterious Aborigine on the show once. That was why I started watching, then he disappeared (Which I guess is also pretty mysterious in its way...). Now I watch it kinda like a rabbit watches a car heading straight for it.
How bad is it? Well let's put it this way.
It's not as good as Neighbours...

No, it's not, but it is a serious pile of shi-ite. Every week there is a major catastrophe, cyclone, car crash , psycho or death in that village. I'm telling you; Colombia wouldn't get a look in!! And they try to portray it as a beautiful place to live!!! I take it your significant other or family is addicted to it! I feel your pain, brother. It wasn't too bad when Danni Sutherland was in it, a Fine Bird!!! I'd give Coleen one though. Would you? Oh yeah, there was an aborigne on it. He was talking to Alf " Flamin' heck" Stewart, when Alfie had that brain tumor thing.

I love it - I missed a chunk of it while I was busy having a life, about 5 years. But there was the aborigine guy that was visiting Alf during his brain tumour and there was also the girl that inspired many wee girls' names - Teigan - but I think she was mixed race. And these wee girls will hate their parents in later life.
Cant think of any others.
But it is fiction and is designed to entertain - not educate, and anyone who looks to soaps as a reflection of real life - needs to get one.

I never watch that show its total bullsh!t, there is no multi cultural society in the soap if you compare it to other soaps like Eastenders or the other popular ones. Thats exactly what I said to brother couple years back there is no need to watch that crap, I would rather sit and watch the paint dry.

I wouldn't know. I don't watch television mainly because most everything on these days is obnoxious, clawing, racist, and offensive garbage.
