Bubble wrap inside a bubble envelope, folded. I've received a lot of them that way and they are always fine.

I would suggest going to the post office and ask them. For cds books and the like, you can send it through "media mail", which is cheaper for books and cds. I imagine they would have boxes to fit cds that you could by there. If that's not cheap enough for you, go to the nearest dollar store. You could probably find a padded envelope... maybe some bubble wrap too.

The post office has CD mailing boxes, they are inexpensive and designed for the task.
BTW: media mail is the cheapest way to mail them, make take a few more days but it is worth the savings.

One of those padded bubble wrap envelopes. If you are mailing several (like if you are selling them on ebay) it is well worth it to buy them in bulk. I have mailed DVDs like this and they were just fine. You might want to put some cardboard in front and back to help prevent any damage to the case. And as someone else mentioned, definitely send them media mail unless they need to get there fast.

I would just use an envelope with bubble packaging on the inside of it. You should be able to find some specifically for Cd's. I know the UPS store carries them. You can also find these packages with decorations on them it for example you can find one with balloons on it. Good luck.
