how can you say woolwich is in london? london to me is where i can stand at a bus stop and bet my life that the next bus to arrive will be red, not green or some f**ked up colour. woolwich is in the sticks mate and that's why the arsenal (scum) left.

Hard to say as most teams these days have support from outside their area. I would say that some team like Millwall or QPR or the less successful teams have a london based following as they don't get people jumping on the trophy bandwagon in a need to support a successful club. But for worldwide support I would have to say probably Arsenal - Huge in Africa - but then with Abramovich in charge of Chelsea it could be that a lot of Russians follow them.

Arsenal has biggest fan base worldwide because there are many Chinese in China support Arsenal. imagine 1 % of China population support Arsenal. that is approximately to 13 million fans.

Beside that, Arsenal has many African players in the team so Arsenal has many fan from Africa Countries. in fact, Arsenal has the highest proportion (7.7%) of non-white attending supporter of any club in English football.

A 2005 report by Granada Ventures, which owns a 9.9% stake in the club, estimated Arsenal's global fanbase at 27 million, the third largest in the world.

No doubt, Arsenal has largest fan base among other London team.

if people supported their local team, the catchment area for crystal palace would see them as one of the most supported teams in england. if you look on the map the next team in the south east heading south is brighton, and with 50 miles of built up areas in the middle including croydon which has around 1 million residents, this would make crystal palace a force to be reckoned with, its just ashame that the london reds (man u) is now london biggest club

there's no doubt that Arsenal has the biggest fan base, but i will bet on Chelsea for those who change their team just because the other team is strong or have super star players....

Probably Chelski, but only due to the amount of monies spent on overseas players, I would imagin every one in the Ukraine now looks at them with Schevchenko its the same for the other 'stars'
