You can hear a lot about Canada on CBC Radio and on CBC TV, if you can get them. Try reading the Canadian papers or books by Canadians. Canadian Culture is sometimes considered as close to American, British, Australian, New Zealand, etc. but it really has a flavour all it's own. Canadians are quieter and less assertive than many, and have a tolerance for others. They are quite law-abiding and fair-minded people. They mind their own business, which might make them seem a little unfriendly at times.
