Whenever I ask people what gender they'd rather have (in terms of children, they always say that they want a son. What upsets me the most about this is that the people that I ask are usually women. Why do women hate on their own gender? What really irks me is that when I tell people that I have 3 daughters, they're all like, "You poor thing". I'm 36, and I have 3 kids, ages 13, 15, and 17. I love them all and wouldn't trade them for anything. Why do people use the tired excuse of, "Girls can get pregnant". Um...boys can get SOMEONE pregnant. What's the difference? Someone please explain.

And before we talk about how "bad" girls are, let's be reminded that, to my knowledge, there aren't any women on the FBI's Most Wanted List, it wasn't a woman that caused the Holocaust, and, last time I checked, Osama Bin Laden was a MAN.

My goodness...I'm so glad for this question. I hate it when women act like this. "Boys are so much easier to raise". NO gender is easier than the other. I think that people just get lazy with boys because they feel as if they don't have to worry as much. They don't care if their sons are having sex, but they're ready to attack if their daughter so much as looks at a boy. I think it's pathetic. People are so busy stalking their daughters while their sons are busy blazing every girl in sight. I think that we females need to give each other a chance.

I am the girliest girl I know and I got landed with four stinky, rotten little boys!! lol - I can't imagine my life without them now but I wanted a girl so bad everytime. I think many women think it will make them closer to their husbands to give him a namesake -(by the way- it doesn't) That and I don't think girls are as feminine as they used to be, they feel akward with the girly stuff. I am with you on the boys getting someone pregnant. I think I worry about that as much as any girls mother. If it happened it would be just as much their responsibility. Not only that, there are many young girls who don't take care of their babies. Heaven forbid my boys get into that type of situation but if they did I wouldn't let them walk away from their responsibility to their child.

women could be so catty and bit*hy approximately their friends, to some extent i've got yet to be certain any guy descend. yet a number of those women would be all smiles and uber-friendly to a girl they despise, whilst they meet. I loathe the insincerity, better than the b*tchiness.

there is nothing wrong with having girls! they are just expressing thier opinion, and they can do that (freedom of speech). but nothing matters more than your own opinion and that ur daughters are beautiful. (just assuming!)

mothers and daughters fight more often then mothers and sons...gurls go through more mood swings then boys and have athey have bigger attitudes...im a gurl and i can get on my parents nerves very easily.
