I need help being "creative" with my homework because I have no creativity. heehee. help?

So, our assignment was to describe an invention, basically just list a complicated set of directions to complete a task. Sort of like the whole mouse trap (the game) invention theory. My task is to turn on a radio. I was thinking maybe start with a pulley or a slingshot and a ball...
but, thats all i got.

try thinking like the mouse trap. I mean make it on simple thing, but a lot of stuff in between.
