Modifying a Motorola Razr V3?

Is it complicated modifying a Motorola Razr V3?! I'm only interested in changing the skins!!! I know I have to use software and cables and stuff, but is it fairly easy to understand the instructions?! I would like to know before attempting to modify my phone so I don't mess it up!! Have you done it?! I

i really wouldnt try it, my friend tried it and he followed the instructions very carefully and still messed it up. id take it to a cell phone place where they do that kind of stuff and have them do it.
