Can any one help me out, I am saying that 414,720 pixels is approx 1/2 Megapixel where 4,147,200 is approx 4 Megapixel.

Please let me know if I'm right someone

4,147,200 is approx 4 Megapixel. is ok
414,720 pixels is approx 1/2 Megapixel is ok, but a bit less...ok

while u wont feel much difference in resolution from 5 to 4 mega, there's a lot of visible difference between a 500 to 400 pix.

There are 1 million pixels in a Megapixel so it shouldn't be too hard to work out, should it?
