The USA needs better fuel efficient vehicles, so we become less dependent of Arab oil.

SUV's need better efficiency for sure. As do trucks.

As for the Iraqis, I doubt they want to die for fuel for our cars.

No, if you read, you would know that we buy most of our foreign oil from Canada. Less than 3% has ever been bought
from Iraq, so I think the SUV drivers can drive without Iraqi deaths.
Dumb question - research first.

Hey idiot, where is MY SUV? I'm an American, and Iraqi's have been dying for eons. According to your question, I'm supposed to have been given an SUV. What have you done with it?

You should also be asking something like, "Do Iraqi's appreciate the fact that they no longer have Soddam killing-off their relatives in masses just for the hell of it?"

Most Americans I know who drive SUV's are AGAINST the war in Iraq. And they hate Bush too! Go figure.

No, they probably don't mind at all. THey would probably encourage it if they knew how many Americans die in auto accidents every year. Considerably more than have been killed in Iraq, Afganistan and 9/11. If they want to kill all of us, they should start building cars!!!!!!!!

If we wanted oil, we would have invaded Saudi Arabia. We are fighting there to help them achieve a democracy. I hope they want that, but I'm not so sure.
