mankind will never get ready for natural disasters. it is not fire protection in a plant.
The whole dynamics of nature is changing and no one knows yet it completely either.
We may not be able to handle it fully, but will manage. But sure big things are coming.

I think not, look what happened to New Orleans, The earth will always go through climate and weather changes, we have already had three Ice Ages, with one around the corner, at least that's what a large percent of scientist believe. We as the human race are powerless against mother nature. Time will only tell, but you probably be safe, and generations to come.

Ignoring your unsubstantiated comments about them being stronger than before, mankind is resilient and mobile and, therefore, can survive big natural disasters.

Hurricanes have decimated entire islands and coastlines in the past (without the publicity that now accompanies them), and the inhabitants have regained their power and/or prominence by either rebuilding or moving elsewhere. In other cases, the entire population was destroyed and another took their place.

The geologic record (as well as historical records) is full of major catastrophes such as storms, volcanoes, earthquakes, tsunamis, etc. Often much bigger than anything seen in the last 100 years.

Don't judge a long-term event such as climate based on a short-term statistically insignificant event.

Mankind will deal with natural disaster when they happen, and nobody is really ready for a natural disaster to happen. This old earth we live on is alive and well, and we'd better be happy that it is because if it was dead like Mars, we would not be here to complain.

Um the rich ones can. And i mean are we supposed to be able to handle this? Lol, IMO we're just like the dinosaurs. Some asteroid will smash into an ocean and poof, extreme climate change=> our demise.
