That i do not cook, clean, do laundry, do the grocery shopping, take care of the pets?

Also study for school?

Why do people rant about how hard Housewives have it when they have all day to do the things that I only have evenings and weekends to do. I said housewives because I do not have children, otherwise I would have said Stay at home moms.

i so agree with you. to those housewives who say that they have a ton of cleaning, cooking, errands etc to do all day, call me and i'll give you the name of the little elf who does my housework, cooking, errands etc while i'm at the office. oops there is no elf. housework does not take eight hours a day to do in addition to 2 hours getting to your job and back. add to that all the stress that a woman working full time has to do. when we get home our job does not stop. we still have to take care of kids, cook, clean, do laundry, run errands. i say housewives should stop complaining they have it easy.

I can't wait to see the other answers on here.
I don't care what other people think or say. By thinking that housewives have all day to do what they do I think by today's standards most wife's work for the most part. People rant about all kinds of things, let them have their say and leave it at that.
My theory is unless they are willing to pay all the expenses in my life and put up w/my crap then let them say and think whatever they want. I don't really care that much what anyone thinks.

Real housewives have to watch about 12 hours of soap operas a day and that sort of cuts into the schedule, plus yakking and gossip on the phone. Too much to do and so little time.

I've been a single parent for 12 years and worked from 12-18hrs a day, what few hours I was home I had to clean and cook, I've done it all.

I would have rather done one or the other but didn't have that choice, it would have been fun spending the day with my son.

I do most of the housework because it only takes about 6 hours a week.

Making meals is the longest part of it.

We have no kids either.

Dont know who or what tripped your trigger, but I think most people realize that those of us who work full time in paid employment also have to cook, wash, clean etc.

Unless, of course, you get paid enough to afford full-time housekeeping staff.
