It is odd I am right handed but put my left shoe on first. I guess it is a Habit!

I put one which ever one I pick up first, but remember this do not walk with one shoe on & one off Bad Luck! My Mother just scolded me about that a few mo. ago & here I thought I knew all the bad juju jinxs by now :) Your never to old to learn new trix.

i continuously placed on my authentic shoe first. even as i develop into an exceedingly little youngster, i used to take turns. one time, do authentic first, next time, do left first. then i kept forgetting which i had finished very last, so i basically continuously did authentic. now...i gess it basically kinda stuck

I put my left shoe on first. My left sock too...lol. I'm left handed, I naturally lean to the left.

Mostly the right is my inclination, but sometimes the left is closer so it's usually a matter of convenience.
