I agree! T he U.S should close its borders to ALL ILLEGAL foreigners.

Let me clarify that i am not prejudice in fact one of my best friends is Mexican. (He has told me things about Mex)

* I refer to them as "The illegals," bc to me you don't have to be mexican to be illegal"

The illegals are getting more financial help than the legal citizens and that's just not right! We have our own problems here and don't need to take on the problems of Illegal citizens. I don't know why it has to be such a BIG issue. You are either legal or your not. Why should we the American people pay our taxes every year just to have it given away to people who can't seem to do things the legal way. They say they are not criminals but guess what? If you are here ILLEGALLY that means you are a criminal.
They have more rights than us. For example: I have a family member who works in road construction. There was a high voltage fence that in English that had a Beware High voltage sign on it. He not knowing how to read English touched it and lost an arm and now the company who owns the fence is responsibly. Why? Because there was no sign in Spanish. If they come here they should learn how to speak English to prevent these accidents. Do they have English signs posted I'm Mexico for English speakers, last i checked they did not. You don't see the Chinese, Aussy, British Etc. demanding we put up translated signs. They also take our jobs. They say they are only taking the jobs that we don't want to work. It may or may not be true. But how will we know if they don't do something about the Illegal immigrant problem. I am sick to death of people pulling the prejudice card just to try and get their way. I think if they have been over here Illegally for years and have children that are legal then maybe there should be some kinda visa for them to get the papers they need w/o sending them back. There are a lot of people that are waiting for there papers and have been waiting for years all bc of the impatience of the illegals.

There is nothing wrong w/ try to make a better living, just do it the right way...the the law is the law

No, not close the borders. We are a free country. I do believe we should institute a more invasive screening policy and tougher standards. As other laws this great Nation has set forth have changed over the years and yet still follow the Constitution, I believe letting foreigners in too needs some regulating changes. For the benefit of all and the USA!

There's a reallly big issue with illegal immigrants. But they shouldn't close the boarders to not let anyone in, it's just wrong. Does that mean that once we leave the United States that we won't be able to come back? Maybe we won't even be able to visit another continent, country, or state. We just have to make sure that the immigrants have papers.

Yes. Illegal aliens are ruining our economy, as well as bringing in diseases and raising the crime rate. The borders need to be closed to all immigration until we get the illegal alien problem under control.

First of all thats NOT what the U.S is trying to do. We want to protect our borders from illegal immigrants...not close them completly. That would never happen.

No I don't. America is founded on immigrants. The only true Americans are the native americans. Everyone else is from immigrant decent, whether it's British, Spanish, African or Asian your ancestors weren't born there. Why close the doors on others who are doing what most of America's ancestors did.

Only to illegal immigrants. It's illegal for a reason. Too many people coming here when they shouldn't be definitely will cause problems. Closing off borders to all immigrants is just ridiculous

Fafa are you American? If yes, were your parents born here? If you are, then you are just a little more senior to some legal American entering today. If you want the authorities to throw him out then what prevents the authorities from coming to you in the next few days?
