I've noticed that many people are accusing Micheal J Fox of supporting politicians. Almost all of them are republicans.

Are people no longer allowed to stand up and say they support this issue anymore or something? What is immoral about it? Or is it just republicans being hypocrits in that they have had similar support from many a people in the last two decades as well?

Oh, and by the way Micheal J Fox would suffer his muscles freezing up if he wasn't taking his meds, the exact opposite that Rush Limbaugh is claiming as fact. His uncontrollable muscles are more due to the meds than the disease.

When I said "almost all of them republicans", I meant that republicans are doing the accusing. He hasn't supported a republican canidate this election, but did in 2004.

No. Are they then not subject to ridicule??
He lied Blatantly in the add and most of his previous adds. Strangely... I only see Libs ignoring the fact that it was deliberately misleading, while, very typically, acting like he is just a poor poor victim who isn't really responsible for his words.
Go on Ignoring the fact that this was a lie as all libs will.

Michael J Fox is an actor, above all else. Like you have mentioned if the man was off his drugs he'd be freezing up or his actions would be slower and jerky, not as quick as he currently is seen doing. It is beleived by some that when he is filming this is that he's trying to make it far more dramatic than is needed to make diseases a political issue. Also, the admission from Fox, in his own words, that he stepped infront of goverment officials he took himself off his medication only to make a political point is frightening. Why anyone would want to cause pain to themselves is beyond me.

The fact of the matter is that the sick are allowed to support politicians but the problem is when they are telling lies to the American public and when they are trying to divide this great nation with another issue, an issue that should be bi-partisian. The way Fox, and Democrats, present this is that "You either support the curing of illnesses, like parkinsons, or you don't want these people to get better."

I wouldn't be surprised to see a topic about embriotic stem cell research stemming from this question.

No, I just do not believe he should lie & use his illness to help "his" canidate.

I saw Boston Legal & the Commerical to show his medicine was working, plus an interview with him. He was fine 2 weeks ago until it was convenient to show his symthoms. The illness is awful, my Mom's best friend had it but she never looked like she was have a seizure like that. Mr. Fox's book said he did not take his medication when he tesitified befor Congress. He either lied now or in his book.

Someone is a hypocrite, but it is not the Republicans.

What is immoral is that he is using his disease to blatantly lie about other politicians, His words belittle those that are suffering from any radical disease ,and your ignorant enough to not learn your facts before you open your mouth..
Stem cell research is legal, and happens to be taking place all around the country. The Republicans,(and some democrats), do not believe that it is moral for idiots like you make me pay for those that want to use dead babies for research that just hasent proven to justify such actions.
Private industry,You know the evil drug companies are dumping millions of dollars into stem cell research already, and since people like you insist that the evil, drug companies, only care about the money, then it only seems to make sense that if this research was so promising, that they would be pouring even more money into it. Or are the drug companies behind the lies you are spewin? Trying to make us pay for their research..HMMM

P.S. Your facts are wrong about M.J Foxes meds too.

I have not heard a SINGLE Republican speak out against MJF because he is supporting politicians. That's an absurd statement. And not a single Republican is saying that he doesn't have the right to his opinion, beliefs or speech. BUT... just because he is sick doesn't mean that people cannot question his methods, his beliefs or the people he supports.

What MJF has done is USE his illness to invoke a specific emotional response and distort another's person's record for someone else's political gain.
--He has admitted in a Diane Sawyer interview that he goes off his medication before testifying before Congress or making public political appearances. HIS OWN ADMISSION!!
--He has stated that embryonic stem cell research is his only hope for a cure - OUTRIGHT LIE. 72 known cures and/or successful human treatments have been developed from adult stem cells. Not a single cure or human treatment has resulted from the (gasp hold your breath) research on embryonic stem cells (no way, can't be happening, evil Bush banned it).
--He has lied about Senator Talent's position on stem cell research. Senator Talent does not oppose stem cell research - he believes (as a lot of people in his district do) that we can continue to perform technological and medical advances in finding cures without crossing an ethical or moral line.

So because his has a horrible, debilitating illness means he cannot be questioned on his political views that he himself puts on display!

it was a dirty move . he himself stated that he doesn't take meds to create a better effect of shaking . that message was for the weak minded , now they think if i don't vote for this guy micheal j fox will die because of me. But I don't see what the big deal is , there have been plenty of dirty tricks done by both sides although this one takes the cake

He isn't dead yet and he still has his facalties with no court declaring him incompetant!

People can support who they want, they have a right and an obligation!

If you remember correctly, he did a similar ad for Trent Lot!

Please give the site that says Fox doesn't take his meds! His MEDS ARE WHAT CAUSE HIS TREMORS, you idiot! That was for the one who accuused Fox of not taking his med! Anything to make him appear as he should not be believed! You weren't claiming that when he supported and mad an ad for Trent Lott, did you!

What Limbaugh said was pretty sick. And Fox has the right to say what he believes, but the way it was done with the ad was a pretty low blow.

No he has the right to support whomever he wishes to, and so do I, and I will vote STRAIGHT Republican... as I have since they all went to the dogs... Fox is a liberal.. cares more for himself than what is moral.. so let him vote liberal... that is his choice.
