I know that it takes many years to "become" a black belt... but to be-cone one? wow... that sounds entirely too sexy for an answer!

this question cannot be answered generally. it depends solely upon the students drive, understanding, and committment.

It's different for different people. It all depends on how good you are.
But I'd say around a few years.
