it may depend on what state. i never had a problem with that. my childrens grandparents divorce when i divorced their son. that was 19 years ago and the kids area still treated the same. if you are the grandparent, stay in touch with the kids. all kids need grandma and grandpa. kids are the innocent bystander in a divorce

Grandparents don't have "rights." They have the priviledge of seeing their grandchildren. They only way you can get visitation rights is if your children were to pass away. Then you can rally for the rights to adopt your grandchildren. Or if they were to divorce and it was in the best interest for the welfare and safety for the children. Other than that, you don't. Sorry!

You need to check with an attorney, more states nowadays are giving more rights to grandparents. Good luck!

in most states they have none.in Texas the only way you have rights is if one of the parents have died and the one left refuses to let you see your grand child.only then will the courts even consider that grand parents have any rights.visition with our grand children is a privilege not a Right.

It depends on the situation. Do you mean the right to visit your grandchildren? That's up to the parents, unless for some reason the courts are involved.
