freeWebhost for amateur blog; it's for our group.?

Question

I know a little HTML, our friends might not. I want to start a group posting site to keep up with each other during the off season of motorcycling. What's a free Webhost that is usable by us not so COMPUTERISH ones? Just a blog, checkin point for us to say "HEY" Thanks for any tips. Also, what is a good size to look for in case some want to post pictures?

Why don't you get them all to join Livejournal.com and then get them to join the same community.

It's the same idea, but they get their own passwords, it's easy to use, and no one needs to know HTML.
