Errrrr. I want to say Jesse Jackson. He won a gold medal in the Olympics a while back. But i'm not sure if he holds the record for the fastest run. Which is 4 minutes.

The world record fot the mens 100 meter sprint is Tim Montgomery from the US. His time is 9.78 seconds. He did this in 2002 but was stripped of the medal because he tested posative. So Maurice Green still holds the record as far as the Olympic and international sporting community is concerned but as far as who is the fasted man alive. Tim Montgomery holds that record still in the guiness book of world records.
