On Sunday (or Monday) night this past weekend an announcer brought up an idea for changing the rules about games that go into overtime. It doesn't seem fair that if you win the coin toss at the beginning of overtime you will most likely win because all you have to do is get a fieldgoal. The announcer had the idea of having to win on a touchdown instead of a field goal. We also came up with maybe you had a time limit and the team with the most points after the time limit. Or each time had 2 possessions and whoever had the most points after that would win and if it was a tie they would get 2 more possessions. I just wanted to know what other people thought about these ideas or if you like it the way it is. Or if you had any other ideas.

Calm down "originalitybygeorge". Who said that "my team" didn't have a chance in overtime? I never said that, and I wasn't whining. I was just asking a simple question. No need to throw a fit.

I agree with you "Justin N". I just had said 2 possessions instead of 1. I didn't think very many of those would actually work but they were ideas.
