I would be a little shocked because I have heard it before but not directed to me. I feel bad for the kid who is saying something they probably don't even know the meaning of but heard it at home. (SAD)

Um... you take it any way you like, but I wouldn't take offense... I'd be surprised a little, laugh a little, and wonder where the hell the kid learned that word from. Then, I'd wonder what the world is coming to... :-)
