Today in science class, this girl draws a picture of a praying mantus and asks me what it is, and then I told her that what it was and we moved on. However, when I got home today, right on front step, was a praying mantus! Is that ironic or what?

Perhaps. Oh, it's ' Mantis ' ; not ' Mantus'. Gorgeous creatures. One of a kind. Very few survive past birthing. Integral in the insect kingdom and as important to vegetation as Ladybugs. As Shakespeare once said:

" There are more things in heaven and earth than can be dreamed of ... "
