It's not the how many, it's more like who is having them, are the kids being cared for, are both parents participating, etc. Societies have spay and neuter laws but allow 11 year olds to go through the birth process. What is wrong here?

I would say Hell No! I think people should be able to have however many kids they want. Lots of people don't want kids, and others want lots of kids, so it kinda balances out. But places like China should have a law... They are already so big of a population, and not just in China alone!!

Over population in the country probably will not be a huge issue in the future.
Our population is aging rapidly; meaning women are passing their childbearing years. Not to mention, currently, many couples and women are choosing not to have children or to only have one child.
Unfortunately, those least able to support large families are often [statistically] the ones having them. I don't see a huge decrease in the need for social assistance in the near future.

No... I'd hate to have a limit... I know how many I can afford and can take care of. I don't think that's what the U.S. is all about. As for the future, no... I think everything will balance out.

there are already laws in place around numbers of children. In China, for instance, one only is allowed.
The side effect of this is that, wanting sons, Chinese families put daughters up for adoption and continue to try to get pregnant with sons. No system is perfect.

I think that there should be a law because people have these babies just to be having them. They should be made to take care of them.

No, just a law on how much welfare they can get - the best contraceptive in the world.

I think there should be. I've noticed that where i live the ones having the most children are druggies and drunks and their children are only suffering. I think people like that should be made to have their tubes tied and their balls clipped. Those people disgust me SO much.
