I am asking this question because having used yahoo answers for a few weeks I am amazed at the lack social, historical, scientific, political, philosophical knowledge exibitited by the questions asked and the answers given.
We are in the 21st century and we are still having converstions claiming that one persons imaginary friend is bigger than anothers.
That the the holocaust did'nt happen, man did'nt land on the moon etc etc...

Stephen F: I think this is a valid and interesting question. But I won't waste time giving it an appropriate answer here because I think in a few days when you choose a Best Answer Yahoo! will erase all evidence that your question ever existed because of what they will consider profanity in the way you asked it. It just happened to me and I think they will consider your "indiscretion" even worse than mine. Now I'm certainly not going to cry "Abuse" here but someone might. Even if no one complains Yahoo! will catch it. They have a special division just for this sort of thing. So.....my advice to you is....delete this question yourself then start over, enter it again leaving out what Yahoo! will almost certainly consider profanity. That way your question and the answers will remain on the site and you will not be blackballed by Yahoo! Trust me, I am just offering this as friendly advice. Peace.

As you can see on here most of the human race are becoming more ignorant than intelligent, but I do believe we will see the few intelligent people in this world possibly make it to the stars one day.

Actually, we live on one...known as Earth. Technically it's a star like ALL stars/planets in the Universe...for crying out loud!

We as a human race will reach the stars someday but it will most likely not be within our lifetimes. That is a very depressing thought for me!
