M.A.S.H. Alan Alda has an extraordinary mind, intelligent and eloquent. Of course, Hot Lips, Radar and the rest of the ensemble are perfect foils for his slightly warped sense of humor.
I've loved the show since its inception .. rarely have I seen a show so well written, so well cast and with such realistic plots and characters. I think I quit watching TV for a long time when it went off the air. Glad to see it back in reruns.
C.S.I (Las Vegas) would be a close second.
Dirty Jobs would be a tie for second ... Mike Rowe is such a sweetheart .. not to mention a very intelligent man. ( Intelligence is always the number one attraction, as far as I'm concerned...looks fade..but a witty, wicked and bright mind will keep you interested for decades! )
Survivorman.could be an option ... not only does he actually qualify as a survival expert (I worked with the Survival/Evasion/Resistance/Escape or SERE team in the Navy) but he is creative and original. I like that. Very rare nowadays.

Two particular shows: CSI Las Vegas, because I like the characters on that show and it's fun to watch them solve problems.
The other show is: TAPS Ghosthunters, because I've become interested in each of the people on that show and I love to watch or read stuff about ghosts.
But if I really want to relax, I like to watch old black and white movies from the 20's, 30's, 40's or 50's.

I like to watch Lost, Americas Next Top Model, and the Office. Lost keeps me entertained and serves as great debate topics on Thursday mornings while Americas Next Top Model usually has an interesting guest star like Fabio (aka Mr. Romance Novel cover guy), but The Office is just plain funny, expecially when Jim pranks Dwight.

Thursday is my fave night of tv. It's really the only night I watch tv, in fact. I watch "Survivor" and "CSI". I just love them. I've been loyal from the start of both. They truly keep me entertained.
Any other time, I watch TCM (Turner Classic Movies) or Fox Movie Channel. They play all the classics. The good movies. Back when they really acted and not everything was remade or done last year. If it's not one of those channels, it's a DVD. I'm a movie watcher as opposed to a tv watcher.
