My little brother stole my sister's most treasured DVD because he was sick of her watching it all the time so he couldn't play video games, and everyone blamed ME for it!!!!! Including my little brother, who is such a liar!! (I KNOW he took it, the explanation wouldn't make much sense to you, but I know he did it, no one else could have) Eventually the DVD was found in my dad's dresser, and even though my brother is the only person in my family stupid enough to hide it there, I was STILL blamed!!!!!!!! And whenever we bring the incident up my sister says, "Gee, I wonder who TOOK it," and then glances at me. Please help me to prove my innocence in any way. I am being tortured for a crime I didn't commit, and my brother is so abject he just stands there and watches it happen. How can I prove my innocence??? PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

Reverse psychology. Stop being angry about it and start being sad. Explain in a kind a nurturing way to him that it hurts so bad being accused of doing something you did not do. Watch his reaction to your being vulnerable. He won't fess up now but if he starts being really nice to you HE DID IT. If he is indifferent he may not have done it. You did not say who found it in your dads dresser. If it was not your dad he may have taken it because he was tired of it also and felt it distracted your sister from other things. Now he can't fess up either. Unfortunately this may be one of those things that "haunt" you at family get togethers the rest of your life. If you really want to trap him, and I would not suggest that, YOU start watching a DVD (or playing a video game) that takes away from his time, keep daily track of it and who is at home and see if that disappears.

Show/read your little brother the Ten Commandments.

Then have him watch a movie like Constantine that shows a depiction of Hell. Explain to him that he will be going there if he doesn't fess up and quit lying.

in case you quite do not want to take the blame, then you definitely can a minimum of stop your little brother from getting beat up. in basic terms provide your older brother's iPod decrease back and say you stumbled on it someplace accessible, like contained in the midst of the laundry.

Eventually your brother will want something or ask you for a favor tell him you'll be glad to help as soon as he sets the record straight and is honest about what he did. Tell him you'll ask that he doesn't get into trouble if he just tells the truth, and then help him.

You have to go to your Mom and Dad and say this to them.

"I am not being given the chance to be heard on this will you listen to me?"

Then explain your side and why you think it was your brother and then let your parents make a decision.

Threaten your brother. I'm sure you know something else he's done in the past that he can't deny. Tell your brother that if he doesn't fess up to this one, you'll tell your mom and dad that he did..... whatever he did.. I'm sure he's done something pretty bad that you never told. Use it against him.
