Can I put my Goldfish in with tetra fish? If I can, are there any special requirements?

Yes. The goldfish won't eat them, both fish are non-agressive. Goldfish don't need a filter/air bubbles or a heater, but the tetra fish do.

Goldfish should not be kept with tetras as most of the tetras are small and eventually they will be eaten by the goldfish and also these two fish live in a different environment which the goldfish a coldwater and the tetra a topical species.Meaning if we put them together, they may not co-exist.

Not recommended 1) different temperature requirements - goldfish could live in the tetras' warmer temp, but it would be better for them if they didn't. 2) Gold fish have pretty big mouths. If the tetras are little, the goldfish will eat them

I don't recommend it at all. Goldfish are referred to as coldwater fish and tetras as tropical water.
Goldfish should be kept in water about 68 degree and tetras at about 72 degrees.
Goldfish also have no stomachs, and that being the case, their food goes in one side and right out the back, causing the ammonia levels to be high, which will hurt after a period of time a tetras scales and cause other problems, in the longer run.

no, goldfish have a difficult time living with other kinds of fish and may eat or beat them up. if you want to get your goldfish a friend, i would suggest getting him another goldfish (although i should warn you that 2 goldfish are messy).

I wouldn't, they have different requirements and goldfish constantly give off ammonia which affects other types of fish
also goldfish do better in cooler water

u can But, tetras need much warmer water than goldfish, i believe 72 is as low as u can go and goldfish can live in that warm of water but they aren't happy. they all would be much happier in seperate tanks. good luck.

u should not do this..1 gold fish are in colder water and other fish are warmer water ,and 2 gold fish have more acid in there water from there waste.and that will kill the other fish..
