I met my wife 27 years ago thru Great Expectations Video Dating service in Denver/Gendale, Colorado. This was when GE only had 3 stores;2 in California and 1 in Colorado. We were one of the very first marriages to come out of GE and probably the first in Colorados. 27 yrs later, 2 grown daughters,1 son in law and a fantastic 10 month old grandson, I would change a thing if I had to do it again. When I first joined I piked 4 girls, the first one out of Boulder just got back with her boyfriend, one backed out because she was too short (5ft vs 6ft 4in), couldnt reach the third so I married the fourth. And this was after I went to work for GE doing the video and activities and even went undercover and joined a second video dating service for GE. Sometimes love comes in the strangest places.

Okay, I was divorced and I had just started attending church again. My wife was in the process of getting divorced and some mutual friends of ours at church thought we should meet. So, they told me that she had seen me and was sweet on me and I bit. That statement was not true. As it turns out, at the same time they were telling me she was hot for me, they were telling her I was hot for her. I had seen her but she had a son and so I assumed she was married and had not given it any thought. So they had us over for dinner and we both went thinking that the other person was really interested, which when we finally talked actually turned out to be the case. I think the fact that we each thought someone was interested in us when we had both just had very hurtful marriages was a big ego booster and helped our relationship. It was not until a couple of months after we started actually dating (I waited for her divorce to be final before I would do more than talk to her on the phone) that we exposed our friends' plotting. I cannot imagine my life without her. We have been married almost twelve years now and have three sons.

The first time I met my spouse we were both 15 years old in drafting class in high school. I was the only girl! It was a really fun class...I ended up taking it all four years of high school and he was in every class. We were friends for about 3 years of high school, dated for 2 years then go married. We have been married for 6 years and are sealed together in the temple for time and all eternity!

I met him when I was 9 and he was 15. Our moms became best friends. It was always how to get those two together. Well after his break up with his girl friend of five years. Our moms tried again to get us together. That time it worked. We have been together 2 years, 3 months and 26 days. We have been married for 3 months and 26 days. We got married on the same day we got together! Thank god for moms!

Through a mutual friend, but its kinda neat how it all came about. I was going to school in MS, my MOS school, for the navy, met a guy there and we became good friends. He graduated first, and left, we lost touch, then i graduated about a month later, and left. It turned out we both got stationed at the same base in SC . We just ran into each other. Well, a few weeks of me and him hanging out, he decided to bring my future husband to where i was working. It took us 2 years to figure out that we both wanted to be more than just friends. but we did, and 10 years later, here we are! And no, i wasnt dating the guy who introduced us, we were just friends, just so you all know i didnt leave one guy for his friend. HOW TACKY! so, to this day, i think it was fate that i was supposed to meet my friend in MS and he was supposed to introduce me to my future husband.
