The pen is mightier. The sword can only kill a few people at a time. The pen can write an idea that is hard to kill.

The sword. A sword can cut off the hand used for holding the pen. A pen can't cut off the hand used for holding a sword. A sword can cut your head off. Then your pen is basically useless.

If you are talented enough then the sword is mightier because you can write in the sand or on a wall with the sword. The sharpness of the sword can carve words into someones flesh. But, if you really want to know, its really the pencil. If you mess up, you can always erase.

The Pen... because wounds with a sword can usually only be seen by the victim... wounds with words can be read by everyone and they arent easily forgotten. I mean come on... Everyone remembers that Hugh Grant slept with a hooker, y? because it was written about... but no one remembers the fight that you got into in the second grade.
