You're doctor is the best to tell you, but my sister only gained 12 pounds with her last pregnancy and all was well. Her baby boy was over 9 pounds when you add the placenta and all the fluid retention she really didn't gain anything and her son is a big healthy 5 year old now! So stop worrying as long as you know you're taking care of yourself and the doctor has no concerns all should be well!

Good Luck!!

I have no clue but that is so not fair. I was 120 lbs when I got pregnant. I am 8 months and 161 lbs. When I was about 5 months I was already at around.......136 lbs. Remember that doctors aren't always right and you need to go by what you think is right. If you are eating the way that you should be for pregnancy then there is no problem. Just don't skip meals to stay thin! Good luck on your pregnancy!

There is no such thing as NORMAL!!!

All women are different, and so is every pregnancy. As long as you are getting regular prenatal visits, maintaining a good diet (no dieting) and taking care of yourself and baby (no smoking, drinking or other drugs), you'll be fine.

Dont sweat the small stuff!

Good Luck & God Bless
