Whats longer, page typed, double spaced or a written page, on normal paper?

Hi, just wondering which is longer (meaning which will take up more paper). because im writeing a essay, and want to write it out first, then type it, but dont want to be dissapointed when i type it and come up short. thanks

Typing it is alot easier than writing, in my opinion. If your handwriting is enormous, than writing is the best bet. Typing it double spaced is a little bit better, because it shows neatness and use of today's technology. It is also easier to type if you are handing it into a teacher to correct it, so they have room for correction marks!!!

Typed double spaced will take much more space, than written. It might take twice as much or more if your handwriting is big. I know this from college experience.

personally, i choose handwriting, because i CAN make my letters huge and the gap between each word is larger.
