if you get your jeans altered and they are made shorter is there anyway to make them a little longer?

when i got my jeans altered they lady made them to short is there anyway to add an inch back to them?

yes if they are sewed at the bottom you can let the hem out by cutting the thread off and making a longer hem

yes. they usually dont cut any (or at least all of) the leg off, tehy just tuck it under and sew it. thats what a hem is. all you have to go is go back there and tell them they hemmed the pants too short, you might even get a discount or for free if it was their fault for making them too short. (like you told them 2 inches and they hemmed it 3)
