She is always saying "Drinks are on the house!" Do the writers not realise the landlord or landlady has to pay out of their own pocket for this?

Before I read your details on the question that was the first thing I was going to say. That's one thing I've noticed throughout the years Peggy has been at the Queen Vic, to say "Drinks are on the Ouse", is a popular line would be an understatement.

"Oh Pats got new Earrings, Drinks are on the Ouse!!"

she is not that rich,people think she is rich because she has two sons who beat people up and because they walk as a boss + The Queen Vic is always packed with customers.

what i'd like to know is how big is pats house! She sleeps there, along with the parklife bloke, his 2 kids, denise and her 2 AND they let patricks mate stay over for a few days!
