Call other cleaning businesses and pretend you want their services and ask them for offers.

I have friends doing the same and they charge about £10-£12 per hour. Do as someone else said and get prices and maybe reduce yours by 50p an hour to be more competitive! Have you thought about insurance etc? I would get some professional advice before starting up any business. You could get sued for anything these days!

charge a basc hourley rate for all jobs and keep a record of time taken to complete each job then submit the bill to what ever company it is for for example £5,25 per hour or if in dollars then fine dollars per hour . you will need some sort of insurance against accidental damage or breakages you may incurr best hting is set up a forecast of your cots out lying for cleaning products etc then balance this out by what ever hourley charge you need to make , but get that insurance sorted out asap even if you have an industrial accident ie trippin on a wire it will allow you to claim a client or them to claim you but it is essential .

What is the average person earning an hour in your area ,just double it , then work out how long the job should take and you know the price you should charge .

PS don't just say I'll do it for so much an hour they won't pay !
