Personally, If it was me, i think that my mom wouldn't really care if I wanted to stay home under those circumstances. I don't know how your mom would react under these circumstaces, but I think I would just try to say something like, "Tomorrow is going to be so crazy at school tomorrow, It's not even worth going. We aren't doing anything, it's just a Halloween thing all day long. Can I hang out with instead?" Or something along those lines.

Be honest & explain that tomorrow is the school's 'Halloween day'so it will be crazy & you won't be doing any real school work or learning. Tell her about the situation w/your friends & also mention that this will be a rare request to her from you.
GOOD LUCK :-)

JHC Almighty ! Go to school. You will be setting a very bad precedent for yourself. I can't believe any responsible parent would tell their kid it was OK to skip school. There will always be things you don;t want to do, but if you make a habit of avoiding things you do not want to do you will end up with problems later on.

Go to school; you will enjoy the evening more. But there is another problem. Tomorrow is not Halloween. If you don't know that then you definitely need to go to school just to get smarter if nothing else.

I skipped a lot of school and look at me. People call me a stupid idiot and snicker and point when they think I am not looking. Do you want this to happen to you?

Not going to school because of halloween is not a good reason. Be up front with your Mom, don't lie and see what she says, she may surprise you. If she says no, be a good kid and respect her wishes. Don't play hookie to hang out with the kids for one day. Always respect your parents. It will make you a better person in the long run. Always be honest with your parents, you want them to be honest you right?

One day means nothing...You could pretend to go to school, and then come home again, but that all depends on whether you walk or get the bus, and whether your parents will be home. Or you could just be straight with them, reassure them that you won't be missing anything..

Just tell her that your 2 friends and you dont want to go to school tomorrow because it's Halloween and that your friends parents say it's ok only if I can skip also.

Say please and assure her it wont become a habit!

honestly..it depends on your mom..if your mom never lets you miss any days of school..then there really isnt anything you can do...just listen to her..and go to school.. but if she lets you miss some days every now and then..just tell her whats going on..and explain to her that you probably wont miss any work since it is halloween day...and if she still says no..there isnt much you can do...all i can say is..if she does say no...do not go behind her back..it will just make things 10 times worse.. as for you friends just be honest with them..if your mom wont let you go and they cant either..then that isnt something they should get mad over..but if they do..they'll forgive you eventually.

the best way is to say the true to your mom. just tell her when she is calm. just tell her hey mom i want to go with my friends cause the invite me and their counting on me and i can fail them. try to make your friends look like little angles just talk good about them and try to tell your dad too that might help

I think you should grow up and go to school. It's easy to say "I want to ditch school cause it sucks." I think that all the time. But it's hard to actually say, "I know I don't want to go to school, but it's the right thing to do, so maybe I should." You should know better, than to follow your friends under peer pressure. Go to school! Get a good education!
