err..
you're best bet is to really go to a salon unless you want to ruin your eyebrows. Take in a picture of someones eyebrows you like and get them to shape it for you. Make sure its a good place though, don't just go to any old place and you can't get your eyebrows dyed permantly. Please DONT use dye you can buy at home, they are really not safe and you can go blind if you get the dye into your eyes. It's really best to do it the proffesional way, safe and good results.
Good luck

Not sure about darkening them but grooming them: use slanted tweezers, not straight. Do it in really good, bright light so you can see exactly what you're doing. Hold a pencil vertically so it is touching the outside edge of your nostril. Any hair on the inside of the pencil needs to go. In other words, your eyebrows should start on the outside of the pencil. The arch should be in line with your pupil when you look straight ahead but NEVER pluck hairs from above the eyebrow. It ruins the natural shape. A good idea is to have them done professionally the first time and then follow the shape by yourself.

I would suggest that you access how thin you want them to be and the do not go thinner until you have lived with them for a few days(it's easier to take away than to add). Do not pluck any from the top wherever possible, the end result will be more natural if you don't. As for permanent tinting try ringing round local beauty salons, hairdressers ect.. if they don't have the facilities they are more likely to know where to go. Or you could go to a salon where they could do your eyebrows to start with then it's just a case of keeping on top of them.

You should pluck your eyebrows when your pores are open. for example, after a shower or after applying a hot face mask/hot wash cloth from your face.

1. dont over pluck because it takes them months to grow back!

2.To find where your brow should go, take a long eyeshadow brush or pencil and hold it parallel to the side of your nose. Where the brush meets your brow is where your brow should begin.

3.To find the end of your brow, extend the brush diagonally from your nostril, following the outside edge of your eye toward the brow. Where the inside edge of the brush hits is where your brow should end.

4. The best brows have a slight arch. To find yours, hold the brush parallel to the outside edge of the colored part of your eye (the iris). Where the brush meets the brow is where the highest part of your brow should be.

5. Cleanse your skin. Exfoliating with a gentle scrub (I like Biore) helps prep the area as well.

6. Brush brows up and out.

7. Make sure to pluck hairs in the direction they grow. Don't grab too many hairs at a time. Yoiu can hold skin taut as you pluck.

8. Once you're done plucking, you can apply aloe vera gel, which will calm the redness right away.

TIP

If your brows are sparse or spotty, you can fill them in by pressing a brown shadow into your brow. Chanel's Perfect Brow Compact is the ultimate brow shadow. It's expensive, but worth the price. Plucked too much? Ji Baek, owner of Rescue Beauty Lounge in Manhattan suggests in Elle Magazine that you stimulate hair growth by massaging brows with a toothbrush.

I'd advise going to a reputable Salon for at least one plucking or waxing. They will shape your eyebrows for you and you can then maintain them yourself. They don't usually charge more than about £6 or £7.

You can trim them with brow clippers & pluck the strays. You can also tattoo them with permenant make-up. It mimics the look of natural brows & costs about $250, you can also do eyeliner, & lipliner as well. Just make sure you go to a reputable salon & someone that's qualified.

Pluck eyebrows with tweezers or use a 'fuzz-away' to shape; use colouring to darken.

Best idea is to go to a professional, it shouldn't cost much, but should look good.

Or you could shave them off completely, then draw them back on with a dark pen!

Just pluck the strays and it is not recommended to pluck the ones above.

dont pluck them yourself, it will just end in disaster! trust me, ive been there! no one has the same face shape so the advice you find on shaping them may not apply to you. Get them done professionaly then follow the shape from then.
